{Sponsor} Better World Books

Buy Books, Spread Literacy

Every once in a while, along comes a company that truly lives up to its name....
I recently attended Womenetics, a women's conference in Atlanta (more on that later).  There were multiple sponsors and vendors, but one stood out head and shoulders above the pack.  That company is Better World Books.

John Ujda, VP of Marketing, spoke at the conference and I conversed with him between sessions for a few minutes.  His passion for global literacy is palpable and he has truly walked the talk as a former English teacher with the Peace Corps.
Buy Books. Do Good. Support Literacy Worldwide
I was so touched by his story that I knew immediately that I had to share this company with all of you.  For every book that is bought through Better World Books, a book will be donated to a literacy campaign.  Imagine the difference we could make if all of our book purchases came through BWB.  They are a for-profit company that is out to show the world that it is possible to be profitable AND do good.  What a concept.

Additionally, BWB will buy YOUR books to donate or sell.  If you'd like to know what they are willing to give you for your book, click here.

You will see Better World Books banners on my website.  I will promote them, and in full disclosure, I have signed up to be an affiliate with them.  However, I hope you can tell by the few advertisements on my blog, that I only advertise for companies I personally use or believe in.  And this is one of them.

Go ahead... search for the books on your wish list.  You will not be disappointed, and some kid in a village, in a city, on your street - to whom a book means the world - is going to thank you.
